Just like you much, is The Ashley curious about what's wrong with Leah Messer baby, Ali. In the last two episodes of Teen Mom 2 we have found that there was something wrong with the baby, as she couldn't put weight on his legs like her sister.
Leah took the child to the doctor, who was watching her and knew immediately that it was something very wrong with Ali's development. He ordered an MRI of her entire spine. Ali, however, was too young at the time to get the procedure done.
-It is quite obvious that there are some flaws, says Dr. Lubicki Leah after examining the child. "For me, it looks like their arms are too short. She looks a little disproportioned. There are certainly things that don't work. There seems to be no nerve injury rooted causes this. "
Leah has not demonstrated what is wrong with the baby. We are actually not even sure that Leah and Cory even know what's wrong yet.
However, we know that Ali's symptoms include:
? Inability to put weight on her legs at all.
? Inability to make a fist
? A slower development than her twin sister
? Vision problems (such as Ali has been seen wearing thick glasses. In fact, according to one story that comes out in OK! Magazine, Ali is legally blind without glasses. But, according to this story, info wrong. A family member said that Ali may look fine on one eye and just having a problem with a.)
We also know that Ali was breech (set incorrectly) and apparently was a twin.
My guess is that Ali has? I think she had suffered a Brachial plexus injury during his traumatic breech birth. She may have some kind of palsy resulting as Erbs palsy. Her Brachial plexus nerves damaged probably during her birth, causing many of her problems. (You can read about this this conditions and also this.)
The good news is that, in accordance with the children's Hospital Boston,
"Most of the Brachial plexus birth palsies will heal on their own (spontaneous recovery). Many children improve or restore with 3-12 months old. During this time, serial examinations in order to monitor progress. During this time, professional or physiotherapy is recommended in order to maximize the use of the affected arm and prevent the tightening of muscles and joints. "
This seems to be the case with Ali, which the family member who spoke with hollybaby.com said to the reporter
"We found out the other day that Ali will be quite good, she just has some physiotherapy," says the source. "" [Doctors] does not say what caused [developmental disabilities]. But her legs will be good in the period of time.
By Ashley has his thumbs to Ali's condition improves with time! Leah and Cory really won us over with their mature approach to parenthood. Many of the other Teen Moms can learn a thing or two from this pair! (I speak to you Gary and Amber!)
Legal disclaimer at the bottom: Ashley is obviously not a doctor. She is just a good internet researchers. She has no idea of Brachial plexus palsy Ali, or other criteria.
